For my senior project, i am researching green homes.
the specific question is “what are green homes, and what do they benefit?”
does anyone have any information that would help me out?
Look up the US green building council and LEED. They certify buildings on different levels of their ecological footprint and how sustainable they are.

What is the process for a green card (family sponsored) after the application is forwarded to the Embassy?
I have a priority date of May 02 (citizen sponsoring unmarried child over 21) and I was just informed that NVC has completed processing of my case and my file was forwarded to the embassy in my home country (Caribbean). I was wondering if anyone can share some information on what’s next? When should I hear from the embassy? What are the other steps in this long process? Any ideas when the whole process should be completed and I should have my green card in my hand? Whether there is anything I can do while I wait – gather other required documents, police reports etc to maybe speed up this process?

i think its better that you consult an immigration lawyer to give you the proper info or better yet call the immigration dept. information service to get the proper correct informations because they usually change their ways as to issuance of green card from time to time.
