I actually enjoy rain tho.

What is the weather like all year round?

It’s a dump. It’s like the Charleston West Virginia of the west coast. It’s full of strip clubs and methamphetamine. It’s the white trash capital of the US. It’s warm for three months. It’s wet for six months. Total rainfall is less than New Orleans, Mobile, Miami, New York, Boston, Charlotte, etc., but it falls in the winter and early spring when it’s cold. The whole city looks like 1984.

The economy is always bad yet people keep moving here making it even worse and making housing far more expesive than incomes justify. It’s expensive to live here relative to income.

The only unviversity, PSU, sucks.

Lake Oswego, Dunthorpe, and the West Hills are the best places to live by far. Linus Torvald’s son went to Dunthorpe High School.

Every city has some nice places.

If I were you this would be the easiest choice in the world! Portland, Oregon for sure! Portland is a gorgeous city in the great Pacific northwest, with a lot to do as far as outdoor activities and also nightlife. I’m not much into nightlife so I don’t know all that much about that. But I do love the outdoors and Portland has them all beat hands down. I spent two weeks there last summer touring the Columbia River gorge (the last part of the Lewis and Clark journey). It is also relatively close to Seattle, which is another gorgeous city.
I would definitely not choose St. Louis – crime capital of the US. Chicago and Minneapolis are OK but the winters are very rough.
I would definitely also not choose Houston – another crime laden city. I don’t know much about Port Orange, FL. Dallas is the “plastic” city of Texas.
