What color should the stems of the plant be?
I got these plants from another person and split them with my sister and friend. My friends plant died, croaked, bit the dust, however you want to say it, my sisters hasn’t done much but it’s still here, maybe on plant life support? Not sure. Mine in the other hand is growing like a “little bad weed” lol.. It smells great I love the smell of the spearmint. But the stems of mine are brown? Is this normal or is my bad little seed sick?? What do I need to do to turn its little stems green again???
Make sure water is consistant and sunlight. You can also get plant food to boost them up. also i would google the plant and find out what conditions they like having to do with Light, water and climates the plant likes.

3. Is it possible to bring dead grass back to life?
We just moved into a new home and the lawn has nothing but dry yellow crispy grass. Is there any way to transform this lawn into a green and luscious lawn? Will just watering it do the trick, or will it require some kind of help… Miracle Grow, etc. or will we just have to re-seed the lawn?

Your lawn is probably just dormant as said before.
But at this time of the year, if you revive it by heavily watering it, you will have to keep watering until Fall. Starting and stopping water can be very stressful on grass. Once it goes dormant in the hot summer you should leave it until the weather breaks.
Cutting – Definitely use a mulching mower. It chops and re-chops the grass so it will decompose back int the soil quicker. Cuttings should be 1″ or less to prevent thatch. Also, mow it at the highest setting; this helps shade the soil keeping moisture in and preventing weed seeds from germinating.
Fertilizer – 10-10-10 is a general purpose fertilizer not meant for grass. Grass requires mostly nitrogen. You can use the typical grass fertilizers or find natural fertilizers such as those made from composted chicken manure. These add micronutrients that help your soil structure.
Aeration – You should be able to rent a plug-type aerator at your local rental center. This removes small plugs from the soil to help keep it from getting compacted. This is usually done in the late fall.
