How can improve on my current gym lifestyle?
I am 17, hitting the gym for 1-2 years. eats 6 small healthy meals a day and go to the gym 2 days a week and i individually target muscle groups at home with dumbells and bench. i use promax and have just switched to cyclone. i’m 6foot 1, 70kg and i have a 4-pack and semi-pecs but im working hard ono them. i know alot about what i do.
but is there any advise bodybuilders can give me?
Eat more!!!!! 70k, seems like you’re a little on the slim side. well, the most important thing to do is to eat alot of protein. think of muscles as a brick building and protein as the bricks, you can’t make the building bigger without bricks right? that’s exactly what muscles are like, you need protein to make the muscles bigger, also you need carbs because those are like the laborers, because carbs and protein are the most important things to build muscle. you say you have “semi-pecs”. Try to focus then on the benchpress because it’s probably the best excersice for chest. you’re 6’1 so it’s probably gonna take a while to fill out that frame. also train like a monster at the gym, and try out new excersices because the reason you’re not growing maybe is because you haven’t changed up your routine in a while, don’t be like those people that go for years to the gym just to look the same, year after year they do the exact same excersices, exact same reps, exact same weight, and exact same body. you need to stimulate your muscles into growing which means you should probably try to start putting a little more weight little by little because a stronger muscle is a bigger muscle. Also don’t try to go too heavy. don’t be like those retards I see at my gym that put on like 10 pounds less than their 1RM saying that you have to use all that weight so the muscles get used to it, that’s not true, don’t try to go extremely heavy because you will probably end up hurting yourself, expecially if you’re just jerking the weights around. I’m 15, about to be 16 and i weigh about 74kg, i’m 5″9 and about 10% bodyfat, I try to focus on benchpress, i’m up to 280lbs(127kg)on my benchpress, about140kg on my squat(i know it sucks) and about 160kg on deadlift. once you get to doing a decent amount on all three of these lifts you will start noticing your body changing, because you will start to see your pecs alot bigger, your back alot wider from the deadlifts, and bigger quads and calf muscles from the squats. by no means should you only be doing just these three excersices because you also need to work out abs, shoulders biceps, and triceps, but these excersices are the three fundamental excerrsices. because if you leave any one out you will not be balanced, i’m sure you’ve seen dudes that have massive upper body but only chicken legs because they never squat, they always wear pants because they’re too embarassed to show their tiny legs, don’t be like that and squat, you’ll probably hate them but they’re worth doing. also do deadlifts, because when you do deadlifts you’ll develop a type of mass that you won’t be able to hide under any type of clothes. as with the people that don’t do squats or any type of leg excersices, the people who don’t do deadlifts or any back excersices, often only work out arms and chest, Personally i think it looks retarded when guys at the gym have 18″ arms and their body is only a little bigger. don’t do that unless all you want is arms, if you’re looking to get a bodybuilders physique, you should do these three excersices, and throw in there some incline barbell presses, triceps extensions, barbell curls, preacher curls, dumbell curls, triceps pushdowns, and definetely the ab exercises, and always remember to eat as much protein as you can, for your size, you probably need to get in at least160 grams of protein and about 400-500 grams of carbs and definetely some healthy fats like fish oil to get the omega-3 fatty acids.

Why You Should Invest in a Home Gym
Daily exercise is as important for our physical well being as it is important for our mental strength; we are strong and confident only when we are healthy. Just like we need a balanced diet everyday, in the same way we need daily all round exercise. Just like we take some time in appreciating healthy foods, the same way it is a challenge to develop a habit of daily workouts. Finding a time slot everyday for workouts is not that problematic for most of us. But in the face of modern day busy schedules that most of us have to keep, going to the gym everyday to do some exercise sounds too exorbitant and the thought almost robs us of our motivation for developing a regular fitness regime. The home gym manufacturing companies can read the minds of people like us who know the worth of exercise, yet are too hard pressed for time to rush over to a gym to take up daily fitness training.
The commitments of modern lifestyles keep us away from a daily fitness regime. With a home gym at your disposal, you not only save on the time of going back and forth to the gym, you can also customize your time according to your convenience.
From a woman’s perspective, I find a home gym extremely helpful. For the working mother with heavy professional and household commitments it becomes nearly impossible to find out a suitable time for going to the gym for a workout or even taking a stroll outside home. For these women, unbecoming weight gains become the cause of depression and stress. But with a home gym, working out becomes a family affair. With the children around, the parents can spend some quality time at the end of the day with their kids while working on the home gym. Thus the mother is not in a hurry to get back home to take care of her little baby. The gym is there at her home and she can take up some exercise, whenever she can find some time for herself.
A home gym is versatile, yet space saving. It is a total fitness solution allowing you to take up a number of exercises as in a traditional gym. Only you do not have to worry about the time and accessibility over particular equipment. At home your gym is always there waiting for you. Put on clothes you feel most comfortable in and switch on to one of your favorite music channels and concentrate on your work out. You will definitely get the body to turn others green with envy.
If you are hesitating over the cost factor, just think of the subscriptions you have to pay every month to your health club. It is a cumulative expense; whereas a home gym involves a one time investment. Just think of it… in return for this little one time upfront cost you get a healthy family and a healthy family is a happy family which cannot be measured in terms of money.
There are many brands of home gyms available these days in the market, just do some research and buy the one that suits your budget and lifestyle.

Can anyone recommend a decent gym in the Ipswich area?
I’m looking for a gym that will cater to my requirements and concentrate on getting the best out of me physically. Somewhere that has people who can tell you what’s best to do regarding lifestyle and training and it must be located near where i live in Ipswich. Any help would be great because i’m new to this area and don’t know where to look! Thanks.
What country are you in?
We have an Ipswich here in Australia, not far from me, but the best way would be to look up the category on Yellow Pages, and pay each one a visit till you see one you like.
